This is a tutorial on how to use the spyware-removing program Ad-Aware SE. Warning! Some spyware programs are so tightly integrated into some of your computers software and may cause it to malfunction if you remove it.
Step 1: First locate the Ad-Aware SE icon. If your computer was purchased from CPU or CPU has done repairs on your computer you should have a folder labeled "Weekly." Ad-Aware SE is inside this folder. Double click the Weekly folder.
Step 2: Inside the weekly folder you should see the Ad-Aware SE icon (highlighted in red), double click the icon to open the program.
Step 3: Once you've opened the program you will probably need to check for updates. You do this by clicking on the check for updates button (highlighted in red).
Step 4: After you've clicked check for updates a window will pop up click connect to find out if you need to update your Ad-Aware SE program's database.
Step 5: If your computer is already up to date a window like this will appear. Just click OK to go back to Ad-Aware SE's main screen.
Step 6: If your computer has updates to perform a window like this will appear. Click OK to download and install the updates.
Step 7: A window will pop up like this one showing you that the updates are being installed when they are finished click Finish.
