Professional (MCP) program

Microsoft
started the MCP program in 1992 to provide a benchmark for measuring the
competence of technicians who support Microsoft systems software. The
certification program was designed to ensure that industry partners had
the skills that Microsoft could stand behind. In addition, the program
provided a valuable mechanism to assure prospective employers that
certificate holders had mastered the technical skills required to be
successful in network support roles. The MCP program has since expanded
over the years to include nine other credentials.

A+ Certification
|
A+ Certification is a CompTIA-sponsored
testing program that certifies the competency of entry-level (6 months
experience) computer service technicians. The A+® exams contain
situational, and identification types of questions. The test
covers a broad range of hardware and software technologies, but is not
bound to any vendor-specific products. |
