This is a tutorial on how to use the spyware-removing program Microsoft Windows Defender. Warning! Some spyware programs are so tightly integrated into some of your computers software and may cause it to malfunction if you remove it.
Step 1: First locate the Utilities folder (highlighted in red). Double click it.
Step 2: Inside the weekly folder you should see the Windows Defender icon (highlighted in red), double click the icon to open the program.
Step 3: Once you've opened the program you will need to select the proper scan to do. Click the down arrow next to scan, and select full scan.
Step 4: This is what Windows Defender will look like while scanning.
Step 5: After Windows Defender has finished scanning this is what your computer will look like. Once finished you can close your Defender window.
